These are large beautiful plump mussels in a mildish pickled sauce. You can tell by the way that they are presented that these are hand picked and canned with all the delicacy needed to keep these amazing mussels intact. The craftmanship always leaves us in awe, not to mention licking our lips!
We love to serve these with some crusty bread to mop up the juices or perhaps some good quality chips? Of course, it would be a shame not to have a cold glass of Ribeiro with this too. Olé!
