Tuna Belly and White Bean Salad

Tuna belly is a flavourful and nutritious source of protein that pairs well with the mild flavor of white beans. The dish is easy to prepare and can be enjoyed as a light lunch or dinner. It's also a great option for those looking for a quick and healthy meal that's rich in protein and fiber.



  • 1 can of tuna belly, drained
  • A handful of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 can of white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • A few black olives
  • Sliced cucumber
  • 1 Hard boiled egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna belly, white beans, red onion, tomatoes, cucumber and parsley.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the dressing over the tuna and bean mixture and toss to combine. Add the pieces of egg and some black olives at the end.
  4. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld together. Perhaps serve with some lemon wedges.
