
Güeyu Mar are one of the World's best conservas producers from Spain, and this wild, red tuna is a prime example of the quality of their products. It is a very rare, thick neck cut (collar) of tuna, chargrilled with holm oak and canned in Arbequina de Castillo de Canena Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
This tuna is very special and nothing like any tinned tuna we've tried before. Tender, rich and succulent with a smooth chargrilled flavour.
To serve, keep it simple and served on its own or with some good bread, and perhaps alongside some salad. This is not something you would want to mix with mayonaise or add to a recipe.
